Eligibility

To enroll in or use Lumora's services you must be legally authorized to enter into contracts in your jurisdiction and comply with applicable laws. Certain courses may have additional prerequisites stated on course pages.

Users must be at least 16 years old or have parental/guardian consent where local law requires. Organizations enrolling minors should ensure appropriate consent and supervision.

Services must be used for lawful purposes related to education, training, or legitimate organizational needs. Prohibited uses include activities intended to compromise systems, invade privacy, or otherwise harm third parties.

Access to some content may be restricted by export controls, sanctions, or local regulations. Lumora may restrict or refuse service to jurisdictions where provision would violate applicable laws.

Account management

Some services require an account. Account holders are responsible for maintaining accurate information and controlling access credentials associated with their accounts.

Users must provide current, accurate, and complete account information. Changes to contact details or billing information should be updated promptly to ensure proper service delivery.

You are responsible for safeguarding your username and password. Notify Lumora immediately if you suspect unauthorized account access. We implement reasonable security measures but cannot eliminate all risk.

Accounts and access rights are personal and non-transferable unless Lumora provides explicit consent in writing for organizational or enterprise arrangements.

If you believe your account has been compromised, notify us immediately so we can take steps to secure the account and contribute. See our contact details for reporting security incidents.

Lumora may suspend or restrict access for accounts that violate terms, are inactive, or pose a security risk. Suspension will be applied in a proportionate manner and with notice when feasible.

Services offered

Lumora provides courses, workshops, and resources focused on digital literacy and IT security awareness, delivered online and in-person. Course descriptions, schedules, and materials are provided on yokora.digital and are subject to change.

Course content, schedules, and pricing may be updated. Lumora will attempt to notify enrolled participants of significant changes that affect scheduled delivery or content scope.

While Lumora aims to maintain availability, access may be interrupted for maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control. We use reasonable measures to minimize downtime and communicate known outages when possible.

User conduct rules

Participants must follow rules that ensure a safe, lawful, and constructive learning environment. The following list outlines prohibited behaviors.

  • Disruptive or abusive behavior toward instructors or participants.
  • Sharing account credentials or impersonating other users.
  • Attempting to access restricted parts of course platforms or other users' data.
  • Uploading or sharing malicious code, illegal content, or content that violates third-party rights.
  • Collecting personal data from other participants without consent or legitimate reason.
  • Using course materials for unlawful competitive advantage or distribution contrary to license terms.

User-generated content

Participants may submit content such as questions, assignments, or forum posts. Such contributions must follow course rules and applicable laws.

Users retain ownership of original content they submit, subject to any third-party rights. Providing content represents that you have the right to share it.

By submitting content to Lumora platforms you grant Lumora a non-exclusive, worldwide license to use, reproduce, and display the content for course administration, quality improvement, and educational purposes.

Users are responsible for the accuracy and legality of their submissions. Lumora is not liable for user-provided content and may moderate or remove content that violates these terms.

Lumora reserves the right to remove or restrict access to user content that infringes rights, violates rules, or presents a security risk, with notice where practical.

Paid services

Certain courses, certifications, and training bundles are fee-based. Paid services are subject to the specific terms described at purchase and these Terms of Service.

Course pricing is displayed at the point of sale in Singapore dollars and includes applicable fees. Pricing is based on the information available at the time of ordering.

Payments are processed through secure third-party payment providers. You must provide accurate billing information. Access to paid services is granted after successful payment processing.

Subscriptions, when offered, will be billed according to the subscription terms presented at signup. Cancellations take effect according to those terms and any relevant notice periods.

Refunds, if permitted, are handled according to the refund policy specified for the purchased service. Refund eligibility depends on course type, usage, and timing relative to the purchase.

Users may cancel enrollments subject to the cancellation rules published for each course. Lumora may cancel courses for operational reasons and will communicate options for rescheduling or refund where applicable.

Applicable taxes are the responsibility of the purchaser and will be applied at checkout as required by law. Lumora may collect taxes based on location and the nature of the service.

Lumora may adjust pricing for future offerings. Price changes do not affect purchases already completed unless otherwise stated at the time of sale.

Failure to make required payments may result in suspension or termination of access to paid services until payment is received.
